1. Want to have the lustrous shinny hair of Jade in Jessica Andersen’s upcoming book Demonkeepers?
Most romance heroines have bouncin' and behavin' hair. A trait I've been envious of. So I had to find an all natural, inexpensive way to get 'that look'. I found that apple cider vinegar will help you achieve the locks you've always dreamed of. Yeah, it’s also used as a homeopathic remedy to remove warts – but don’t let that frighten you. It’s a great way to give your tresses a little shine. Mix one part warm water with one part apple cider vinegar. Apply to hair and let sit for at least five minutes. Rinse hair with warm water, then a final rinsing with cold to close the follicles allowing for easy styling.
Who doesn't want younger, healthier looking skin? Most heroines have youth on their side. Me, I got a secret ingredient. You’re probably using this ingredient in your tea or to pour over your breakfast cereal. What is it? Honey. It's more than just a sweetener, it happens to be a wonderful ingredient for the perfect facial. Mix 1 tablespoon of honey, one teaspoon of olive oil and one egg yolk in a small bowl until you’ve created a creamy paste. Using a warm wash cloth, moisten your face to open the pores then apply the mask. Leave on for 20 minutes then wash with warm water, with a finishing rinse of cold water. Your pores will be tighter and your skin will be smooth with a healthy looking glow.
3. Want the silky smooth skin of Lilly Belle in Lora Leigh’s Black Jack?
Heroines can wear the skimpiest of nothings with no fear that ashy elbows or knees will offend the hero. Many of us don't come from the pages of a book, so we need a little help. And that's where oatmeal comes in; it's not just for breakfast anymore. It’s a terrific exfoliant and can be used to shed the dry flaky skin that’s built up over the long winter. Mix one cup of oatmeal with olive oil and place in a bathtub with warm water. Rub the oatmeal mixture over your body, sit back, relax and enjoy. Twenty minutes later rinse, and voila you’ve got smooth, silky, touchable skin again.
So pamper yourself and after your done sit down, relax and read a good book. Might I suggest the above? I loved them.
