During this past year I read some really great books; so when Maria, Melanie and I decided to name our top three favorite romances for 2011 I had a hard time picking only three. Looking through the books I read this year I was drawn to the books that had the most emotional impact.
Of course I read many other great books this year and I would be remiss if I didn’t mention some of the other books that stole this reader’s heart.
Breaking the Rules by Suzanne Brockman
In Bed with a Highlander (McCabe Trilogy #1) by Maya Banks
Between Sinners and Saints by Marie Sexton
Living Promises by Amy Lane
I'm curious, what were some of your favorite books this year?

Good Morning Marisa - I love/hate these year-end lists because it reminds me of the wonderful books that I have read during the year, but it also makes me add more books to my TBR pile because there are always a few that I haven't read/bought yet !! I'm looking forward to hearing what books Maria & Melanie list. Have a wonderful Holiday and I look forward to reading more great H2H postings...Anne

Good morning, Marisa! Nice to finally see a face with a name. : )
I looked over my "Read" list on Goodreads.com. So wonderful books that I've read this year! To name just a few: I loved "Seducing Allie" by Shelli Stevens, "Midnight Sun" & "Sunrise Over Texas" both by M.J. Fredrick, the "Fever" & "Highlander" series by Karen Marie Moning, the "Highlander" series by Maya Banks and "Lady of the Rivers" by Philippa Gregory. Merry Christmas!

'Fitzwilliam Darcy, Rock Star' for contemporary; 'All these Things I've done' for dystopian/YA; Grace Burrowes is in a category all her own with 'The Soldier'; Harry Connolley for Urban Fantasy (no romance so not applicable here, still amazing, gripping triology); Kaki Warner for her western romance books; 'One Night in London' for being smoking hot with spare sex scenes.
So many wonderful books, so little time!

Hi Sing_N_Reader - I too love both Banks' and Moning's Highlander series - great reads. And thanks for introducing me to Midnight Sun - sounds like a great book and I'm definitely putting it on my list.
