This week we're answering that question with Sylvia Day's Bared to You. Don't let the cover fool you. This is more than just a knock-off tale; while there are similarites in subject matter to Fifty Shades of Grey (Fifty Shades Trilogy #1) , fans of Sylvia Day's previous titles know the depth of storytelling to expect. And this one delivers: the characters, Eva and Gideon, are wounded, deeply compelling, and fully-realized; their romantic connection is plain hot; and the journey they take is heart-wrenching. (Don't worry though. As I said, it's very, very hot.)
Bared to You is the first in what the author is calling her "Crossfire" series. Sylvia self-published this book in ebook form months ago; it sold like wildfire and was snatched up by a print publisher. So many readers have discovered erotica lately, and you no longer have to be an e-reader to add this one to your must-read list. You won't be disappointed; Bared to You is more than the sum of its parts; at its core it's a story of the healing power of love, the inexplicable draws of attraction, and the difficulty of moving forward when the past has its hold on you.
This isn't the first recommendation we've made to E.L. James' fans. Visit Romantic Reads for an ongoing discussion of our favorite books to share, our lists of what we want to read, and a weekly run-down of newly released titles.
Until next week, happy reading!

I did notice a lot of similarities with this book and 50. I seen a few things that were different. I liked that there wasn't so much of the BSDM in this book. While I enjoyed that about 50, I really don't think that is all there is to romance!
