Teresa Medeiros has created a well-crafted and engaging romance that captures your imagination through an exicting adventure and a fascinating mystery revealing new bits of information as you turn the pages. It made this reader want to know more about Jamie’s motives, Emma’s life, and the mystery surrounding the rivalry.
If you’re a Teresa Medeiros fan, you’ll gobble this one up. If she is a ‘new to you’ author, I say, “what are you waiting for?” The Devil Wears Plaid is an exciting historical, with a hero that will make your heart skip a beat, and a heroine who is as smart as she is beguiling.
Emma is being ‘forced’ to marry the Earl. Would you marry a man forty years older, with missing teeth, who is sagging in places you don’t want to know about if it would save your family from absolute disaster?
