Dear Reader:
In Water Bound Christine Feehan brings us a brand new series to love and cherish, and she also brings us back to the picturesque town of Sea Haven where anything is possible. A coastal town where magic, danger, mystery, and romance combine to create all the right elements that will have you immediately caught up in the first book of this brand new ‘Sisters of the Heart’ series.
Rikki Sitmore is a sea-urchin diver with the mysterious ability to control water. What makes Rikki truly remarkable is that she is autistic, and although she is highly functioning, the world around her is not necessarily a welcoming place. The only place she truly feels at home and in command is when she’s in the water. It’s when she rescues Lev from the ocean that her world suddenly changes.
Lev Prakenskii is a man with no past and no future. Half drowned, battered and torn, and with no memories, his only clues are his guns, knives, scars and the instincts of a trained killer. Lev must find out who he is and who he’s running from before time runs out; and he needs Rikki to help him.
What makes this book special is the how Rikki and Lev find their way to each other. You would think that an autistic adult and a trained killer are not necessarily the makings of a ‘fine romance’, but you’d be wrong. Ms. Feehan really takes her time and explores the relationship between these two. You fully experience how they learn to understand each other and then grow to love each other. They become touchstones, gracefully weaving immovable bonds that draw them together, enabling each to fully realize their potential.
An extraordinary part of this whole series is that Ms. Feehan has delivered us back to the wonderful town of Sea Haven, the home of her fascinating Drake Sisters series. Water Bound picks up where the final Drake Sisters book, Hidden Currents, left off. And for those of you who have not read the Drake Sisters Series (and I suggest you do), don’t worry; this book completely stands on its own. Those of you who are fans of the series, well, you’ll be delighted with the appearances of beloved characters.
So dear reader, if you’re looking for a paranormal romance, with the emphasis on romance, lots of action, mystery, intrigue, magic, and the beginning of a brand new series, might I suggest Water Bound?
If you haven’t yet read the Drake Sisters Series might I suggest you try them?
• Magic in the Wind (Drake Sisters Series #1)
• Twilight Before Christmas (Drake Sisters Series #2)
• Oceans of Fire (Drake Sisters Series #3)
• Dangerous Tides (Drake Sisters Series #4)
• Safe Harbor (Drake Sisters Series #5)
• Turbulent Sea (Drake Sisters Series #6)
• Hidden Currents (Drake Sisters Series #7)
Until next Monday, remember, there’s a book waiting to be read.
I’m curious: Do you know any ‘pairs’ that at first glance wouldn’t necessarily go together? They can be from books, television, movies, or real life?

OMG, how did I miss this. I must have been living in a cave or something. I loved the Drake sisters series and I am on my way after work to pick this up. Love her Dark series too.
Thanks you so much Marisa
