Lucy Valentine comes from a long line of matchmakers who are head and shoulders above any internet dating service. Their brand of matchmaking isn’t something you’ll find anywhere else, because they very successfully match people by their auras. While the Valentine family can help anyone find their one true soul mate, ironically, they’re not able to hold on to their own true loves, because the Valentine’s have been cursed by Cupid.
To complicate matters further, a freak accident leaves Lucy without her ability to see auras and instead gives her the ability to psychically find lost objects. And that’s where Deeply, Desperately, the second book in the Lucy Valentine Series, picks up.
Author, Heather Webber has created a fun book, filled with surprises, comedic dialogue and characters you want to get to know more about. Deeply Desperately is part of the Lucy Valentine Series. The first book Truly, Madly, was published last February, and Absolutely, Positively will be released next February.
There’s a scene in the book where Lucy tries to match up her 75-year-old grandmother with a man in his 80s. I thought it was terrific. How about you? Is there an age limit when it comes to dating?

Maria, thanks so much for the wonderful review--you really captured the whole book (which I know isn't easy to do). I'm so glad you enjoyed Lucy's latest adventure.
As for dating at any age (well, teens on up), I'm all for it. Getting Dovie to agree, however, is a different matter. She's a bit of a cougar.

Heather - Thanks for stopping by. I am so looking forward to Lucy's next adventure in "Absolutely, Positively" -- And now you've got me curious on what Dovie will do. She is a delightful character. I love the way you portray both Lucy's mother and grandmother -- it's nice to see 'older' woman with guts, spunk and life!

Maria, HI and Hey Heather I read Truly Madly with sneak peek on the romance board last year. I loved it and I'm going to get Deeply Desperately, I also LOVE it when an author gives life to a woman of a certain age, like me.
And speaking of cougars, seems to me what's good for the goose and all that, how many men of a certain age date and marry twenty year olds. That's right
Keep up the good work.

Hi Heather! So good to see you back in the BN.com fold, and a big thank-you to Maria for the close-up look at book #2! Truly, Madly was a huge hit at Romantic Reads, and I cannot wait to read about Lucy's new adventures.
I love love stories for older generations! Especially as I get closer to the mark myself...Just can't always identify with the early twenty-something heroine anymore. Now I like my heroines harried, with a baby on each arm, and an apartment that's too small. ![]()
