Consider a cover like the m-edge with the clear cover. It keeps sand out, and although not really waterproof, it may keep the Mai Tai spill out  :-)

Just go to www.trendydigital.com and buy a fairly inexpensive dust/water resistant cover. you just read thru the cover. It works just fine!. mrj
