Changing Offensive Pen Names =(

As you can see my pen name is quite offensive ( I didn't think it was at the time) but now I am blocked. How can I change it to something more appropriate?

A moderator sent me an email a while back and I told him to change it for me and he never did.

As far as im concerned moderators cant change pen names, I may be wrong but i think only admins can do that if an admins reads this please change my pen name to Caneron.....please

You might try sending a private note to BN_AlexG.  Click on that link and on the right side of his profile page click on Send this user a Private Message.

I did that right after I wrote my previous post. Im just waiting for a reply..... I hope he does it

You know what?  I hope he doesn't.    I remember when I signed up for a pen name that I was warned, at least twice, that pen names couldn't be changed and I should be sure I liked the one I was choosing.

Ignore the warnings?  Live with it.  I'm not very impressed wtih people who believe the rules do not apply to them.

i didnt see any warning though I just came to the nook blog whenever I first got my nook and I signed in. I  click around and started messing with my profile settings. I eventually ended up where you make you pen name i clicked it and typed. Never did I see this warning everyone keeps talking about!

I think there's a lesson in there somewhere.

Maybe it's "Always assume you won't be able to change your username?"  Or "Read the fine print?"  Or maybe it's just "Don't make fun of people with the real name of Adelynn?"

Seriously, your pen name is fine.  I get the Carpe Diem person wanting to change their name, but yours is fine.  So what that it's not your real name?  What's the big deal?

Unless, of course, I was right when I guessed that you picked it because you were making fun of someone.  In which case I hope you're stuck with it forever.

Ok first of all I wouldnt have chose it if I didnt like the name but all my other usernames are Karen, Karen900, Karen999, KareBare900, ect. and I like my usernames to be along the same lines I also like my friends to be able to find me. And about the always asume you wont be able to change your username, the only two places that I cant change my username is Youtube and here so thats not the first thing that comes to mind when I make a username

Seriously, just get over it.  You can't change your pen name.  First world problems...

You have to find a moderator that's also an administrator. Look for a mod with AMIN written beside their name and PM them asking for a pen name change. They don't have to do it, but they have in the past and probably will again if you ask them nicely.
