Most of my family and friends are stuck in REAL books - I am NOOK happy, but no ONE to share with. Can my name be added to a list or a book club???

As an option, the LendMe feature allows you to share a book with anyone regardless if they are a Nook user or not. They can access the shared book on any of the devices listed on the eBook page with the B&N free eReader application. It's a great way to share the exciting world of eBooks with others too.
Just a thought.

That option is generous - however, everyone I know prefers books themselved instead of an ereader. Is there a group of people wanting book company or book club.
I would like to be placed on a list to get to know other people with ereaders and share. you can add me Jagmom3d.

Well, I am up for a list. Unfortunately, my friends refuse to get out of REAL books, so the lend me option for any application doesn't apply since they won't use any electronic equipment to read :^(
If you are starting a list please consider me and reply - it would be neat to create an electronic book club

I gave a Nook to my Mom for Christmas, but we have very different reading tastes, so I haven't gotten anything yet that she would enjoy and vise-versa. I have considered trading email addy's with others here who share my taste in books so we could at least try out the Lend Me feature as it is one of the coolest features.

I was a little skeptical at first, but I'm starting to warm up to my Nook. I still love traditional books, but the ease of ordering without having to drive the 50 miles to the nearest BN is a big help! I also from time to time have a techie attack where I just have to have something gadgety, and this was it. Wish more of the nonfiction I use for research was available too! I'd love to chat with other Nook users.

There's a facebook page called I have a Nook and willing to share or something to that effect that is great for lending and borrowing lendme books
