Page jumping to top

There is a new 'feature' that is driving me nuts!  I think it started on Friday, and I was hoping that it would be ok by today, but it is still happening.  When I open a page, it first goes to the right place, but then after some seconds, it jumps to the top of the page.  For example, if I open a thread, normally it positions to the first unread post.  So, now it does that at first, but the page is frozen so that I can't scroll or whatever, and then after it sits like that for a while, it jumps to the top of the page and takes a while longer before it unfreezes so that I can scroll back down and find the post I wanted in the first place.  Same thing if I back up - for example, if I back up to the thread listing from an individual thread, or to the board listing from a board's thread listing, it first goes to where I had been - in other words, if I had had to scroll down to get to that board, when I hit Back, it normally would show the page positioned as I left it.  Now it does that, but same thing - it is frozen, and after sitting for a while, jumps to the top of the page and I have to scroll back down after waiting for it to unfreeze.  Along with this, when I open a reply page, I at first just get a very narrow box over on the left, while it is frozen, and then after what seems like quite a long time, the box widens normally and the rest of the toolbar shows up so I can write my reply.

These things make what is normally a very slow board much slower - coming here is now an almost excruciating experience!!!

Oh I had that for months now. It hangs right when the page loads the twitter links.

The hanging/slow-loading pages have been going on a long time now, but the sudden jumping to the top of the page and making me lose my place is new for me, at least.

Thanks for reporting this guys, we've been talking to our developers about it and hope to have a solution soon.

THIS IS STILL DRIVING ME CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It takes me hours to read the new posts on just one forum, with all the extra time it adds, waiting for it to jump around until it decides it's done.  I've given up following some forums altogether, and sometimes wonder why I even bother at all.  Technically, this site just keeps getting worse and worse.
