Re-lending Lend Me Books

I lent out one one of my Lend Me books to a friend.  Now that it has expired and back in my nook, I was hoping to lend it to my father.  But, when I tried to send it, it no longer has the Lend Me tag. 

Is there a reason why I cannot lend this particular book out to someone else?

As explained in Item #9 on this  page, Lend Me titles are available to be lent, one time only and only for a period of fourteen days.  This is not one time per recipient, it's one time per title.

Edited:  If you will be in the same physical place as your father, you can sideload the book to his NOOK and open it.  His NOOK will prompt you to enter the default credit card number on file when you downloaded the file.  It's easiest to download the files to your PC via NOOK for PC (or Mac via NOOK for Mac) and sideloading those.

It's a little misleading that nook books can only be leant one time per title.

It's a publisher issue, they will only allow the book to be lent one time.  And also, many of the publishers have pulled or most of their books from the LendMe program althogether.
