Returned books

[ Edited ]

Will there ever be an option to send back a unwanted book or trade with someone else permanently?

I.E. If I own a book called "improve your health" and I decided that I am done with it and want something different can I sell it back or to someone for a much discounted rate at bn, It will in turn be taken off of my nook and my account as returned or sold and tracked so can't be put back on my nook without repurchasing it back at full price?

In today's world, probably not.  It's up to the publishers, and since they're the ones who have killed the lending program and are now, apparently trying to kill borrowing eBooks from the library, I wouldn't hold my breath on a way to give away or swap eBooks.

Re: Returned books

I think it is a great idea if it can be done.

I don't think eBooks can work quite like printed version.  Because it will be very easy to copy and then return it.  Even illegal copies is a challenge to keep track.

Even if there is some way to keep track, it will require too much efforts and may not be economically feasible.  Wish you all the very best.
