Using the WORD icon

Can anyone tell me if using the WORD icon would help with cutting and pasting from one message to another so as to avoid the horrible HTML error situation?  I know those pastes aren't from WORD, but I wonder if it would work anyway...

I've been trying to sanitize these cuts and pastes through using NOTEPAD, but that doesn't always work.
