when i click on my library, it will not stop refreshing. I can't see any of my books. When I change the zoom in the window, some of the books show up, but others don't. When I go back to my profile, I see what I think is the problem book; unlike other books there, it does not give me the option to delete it. I still have the problem of an unstable "my b&n" library.
I've used safari on a mac, google chrome on a mac, internet explorer on windows 7, google chrome on windows 7. I've even tried it in the safari browser of my ipad.
I chatted online with 2 barnes and noble customer service reps. no help.
I chatted on the phone with customer service for over half an hour. They said they could not repeat the problem on their end.
I've had this problem for weeks.
So, I am stuck. I assume barnes and noble wants people to stay on their site and that is why "my b&n" exists. I've spent way too much time on this. I want to catalogue my books and will have to go to goodreads, librarything or shelfari unless they can help me.
Can someone at Barnes and Noble either:
1. Delete my books from "my b&n" so I can start over and not add the problem book that seems to be causing the instability;
2. delete my "my b&n" profile so I can start over with a new profile and not add the problem book that seems to be causing the instability;
3. alert their customer service reps that "my b&n" actually exists and educate them on how to delete a book that a customer cannot delete from his end; or
4. admit that they are not supporting the "my b&n" area of the website and shut it down.
