The final choice *spoiler*

Am i the only who felt that Will and Lyra's choice to be apart was a bit too quick? After everything they had both gone through, Will getting 2 fingers chopped off, his father getting murdered in front of him, his being forced to kill more than once, and Lyra losing her parents and a handful of close friends, I just think there should have been more of a fight put up. Everything they had done was done for them to be together, they were all the other had left. I would have at least spent quite some time discussing my options with the angel, and not backing down till i got what i wanted.

Re: The final choice *spoiler*

I do think that they decided a little too quickly to be realilistic, but then again they have been through a lot and have "grown-up" i guess. If you really want to see some quick decision making read the "The Dark"(the sequal to "The Named") twords the end you'll see what i mean.

What i also though was outragous was that the trilogy ended up being a love story between two Twelve year olds! What kind of scyco children "fall in love" at that age?! It totally ruined the while experience for me.

oh and about them arguing with the angel, i don't think they had the energy.
