As this is the last week of his apppearance here in the book clubs, let's all extend our thanks to James Swanson for joining the conversation of Manhunt.
To me, Lincoln's assassination is one of those events in history that we think we know a lot about ... until a book like this comes along and paints a much more complete picture. It was great to have such an expert on hand for this discussion!
Thanks again James!

James----As I mentioned in the questions section, thank you for the insightful comments on your book. The book was really a pageturner. I never enjoyed history in my younger years. But now I'm more interested. My usual way of getting the flavor of a period is through historical fiction. But your book makes reading actual history very enjoyable. Thank you. Your next book sounds good too.
