The overarching theme I notice in this book is this: whatever it takes to be a great athlete, those same skills are the cornerstones of being a great leader.
Which begs the question, how important is it that schools emphasize sports?
Have you seen any examples where the absence of sports (or fitness & exercise) options have negatively affected the academics of a school?
Should classes in fitness -- or the arts -- still be considered "extra"-curricular, considering the benefits derived from them?
