A COUPLE OF WEBSITES FOR SOME OF THE PLACES IN THE BOOK

When I was reading the book,I found myself researching some thing and some places on the web to see what they looked like. They sounded so cool. I found a couple that have some good pictures of Hagia Sophia in Istanbul (if you go through this page and look at them some of them have other pics of it too, to click on by the person who took them)in Istanbul:

and also later in the book in Cambodia of Angkor Thom and also Angkor Bayon with even some plans of the place:

Hope you enjoy these, they are not spoilers to the story, just pictures of where you will be going with it :smileywink: And maybe Jim can tell us about some of the pictures too, if there are any that we should really take a look at.

Great post, Vivian! Smithsonian magazine also had a great article about Angkor in its last issue.
