It is a fascinating literary biography of the famed British politician, and Kirsch does a wonderful job of exploring the man and author behind the politics. As our own Jonathan Rosen said, Disraeli was the outsider politician of his time, crossing tremendous class and ethnic boundaries to reach the height of power.
