Re: Ivy's Wish

I'm glad Kim is nice and young and has a huge writing career ahead of her. Perhaps she'll become speedier with time? (No 'ffence, Kim... not rushing the creative process or anything, but I'm not getting any younger, either!) :smileysurprised:

Re: Ivy's Wish

I have a feeling that I'll be sticking with these books to the end. Even if it takes years. I followed the HP series for nearly 10 years. And I'm only 16.

I'll agree here. I've followed Stephen King almost from the day Carrie was released. I heard one of the reasons he took up the name "Richard Bachman" was so he could produce more than one book a year. Is there some sort of rule that says authors only have to do one book a year? They can't do more if they want to?

Don't get me wrong, I do have a hint of an idea of how hard it must be to turn out a good book. I'm not suggesting it's like whipping out a daily comic strip or anything.

Speed doesn't seem to be the problem, she said she likes to sit on her work almost 2 years before she lets them hatch more or less. One thing we know, she is very good at keeping secrets. :smileyhappy:

Re: Ivy's Wish

Aww, gee. I don't feel young today. Ow. I've been in the gym twice since getting home from vacation, and I actually fell down last night. ;-) Right on my butt. And I'm going again tonight.

Re: Ivy's Wish

Kim, I read about your spill on your comments page. Sounded like a good one. Wish I was their to laugh (smiles). Anyway I think the wish might be somewhere along the lines of not letting Rachel leave her. Not a unconditional friend as suggested before but just her not being able to leave Ivy's life. Tell me if you think I'm wrong. -Sami

As long as we're confessing... I fell down recently as well- on my hip (luckily I'm not that old!) while I was trying to rid my yard of a vicious vine. You can picture it I'm sure- the vine gave way when I least expected it!
