This is my first posting here, so "hello" everyone! Keasley is a fascinating character to me. I would love to hear more about him and his mysterious past.

I just loved it when he made Rachel stay in the yard! It was surprising, but obviously well intentioned! I think that the relationship between him and Ceri is also very interesting. Kim, I know that Ceri is getting more familliar with living in the Hollows rather than the everafter...do you forsee her gaining more independence from Keasley, or staying with him despite this?

I have a feeling that Ceri is going to become very independent. She seems very smart and powerful. Once she gets used to the way things work on this side, she will probably be a force to be reckoned with. I'd hate to be on her bad side.

You and me both! I'd hate to see her when she really gets angry...look what she did to Trent, and she likes him I can't wait to see how she grows as a character... and what Trent will do with her sample... Any hints Kim?

Funny you should ask . . . ;-) I don't want to say too much about Ceri, but she does play a part in the next book. She is finding herself, in a manner of speaking.

I can hardly wait to see what she is up to in the next book! I wish I knew all that you do about what is going to happen next I guess I'll just have to wait, Darn it!

I hope we get to find out a bit more about Keasley in the next book. (grins) I've been wondering about the man since he entered the books. He appears to know much much more about Rachel than anyone should have a right to know. (looks back and forth) On the other hand, it has been hinted that he has dealt with demons before. Check out the interaction between Rachel and him after the first incident with Al.

I've been wondering if Keasley was set up to observe Rachel or not. The man has been a puzzle all the way around... on the hand, I like puzzles.

I hadn't thought about Keasley being put there to watch Rachel...that's a great thought, but who would have put him there to watch her? I wonder... I am excited to find out what Kim has in store for him.

Hey everyone,

I know this is going to sound strange but.....I have always had this feeling maybe Keasley knew Rachel's father. Maybe even was asked to watch out for her and protect her for him. I know, I know, not likely, but he just seems to know so much about everything.

And don't even get me started about Ceri....she is one tough Elf! Ceri is another one thats going to be a handful for Rachel. I thought Ivy had issues, but I think the next book may just give new light on what Rachel has got herself into with Ceri.

I definitely agree, Silvernightshade!! Keasley has had my radar alarms going off from the very beginning of the stories. Ms. Harrison has kept this character 'well played', in my opinion - keeping him just in the 'frame of the picture' so we don't forget him, but far away enough to remain mysterious...nice!

Hadn't thought of him being put in place to keep an eye on Rachel...thought of him more as 'hiding from something'... Maybe he has what Newt is looking for. OMG! Maybe he IS what Newt is looking for?! Maybe Keasley escaped from Newt?! Wow, that would be very interesting...

(side note: check out the 'Ceri' thread... some interesting conversations happening over there... ;-)
