Re: MARCH MADNESS

My fellow nobles, I had the strangest day.

I woke to a odd racket coming form my veranda. I stroll out to find none other than the March Hare, drunk as a skunk. Upturning all my outdoor furniture while murmuring, babbling, and shouting something about the bleached bunny. I went for help only to run literally into a Leprechaun by the name of Mickal. The rather annoyed fellow accused me of harboring a lop eared fugitive and a whiskey thief. I walked him over to the March Hare. Only to be informed "wrong rabbit!" Well to make matter worse. In flys a Churlicune, a SOBER Churlicune at that! "Lass have you seen the lapin who stole my pocheen?"

I have fled indoors, my somaliae has run out of booze, my stores are dry. The three of them have decided to take up camp and drink all my liquor. Pledging not to leave until they have possession of a certain white colored lop eared rabbit fellow.

I'm sure there's some misunderstanding. Truly I don't believe the White Rabbit has turned to theft to cover his St. Patty's bender. Assistance please I beg, more alcohol and someone find the White Rabbit quick!

Re: MARCH MADNESS

Lady Tigger,

It does seem that you have a rather strange situation on your hands, for which I'm feeling all kinds of distress for you over.  I had a conference with a few of my closest advisors and we decided to send the clever Trixx Rabbit over to you to see if he can be of any assistance.  He came in handy last year when Peter Cottontail was breaking into the Hobbit dens and stealing mead and carrots from them.

If you need anything else, please ask.

MARCH MADNESS - Looking for little Lop!

Oh, my dear Lady Tigger, I just now got word of your dilemma!  You do seem to have a bit of a worry on your hands!  I will put out an immediate directive.  Burgess will send someone over to replenish your stores of mead.  I hope he will be there before these fellows tear your cupboards apart in their search for the strong stuff!.  We want to keep this as quiet as possible, but send out enough scouts to find our little friend!

I am proceeding on with my morning walk, in hopes of success.  In my walking amongst the grasses on the moor, I spied a movement, a rustling in the heather.  It caught my eye, but I was not immediately aware of what it was.  I came closer, being of the curious nature that I am, and this is what I saw.  An Orange Holland Lop.... I asked if he has seen a little lop eared, of the color white.  This fellow was a friendly sort, and pointed his nose in the direction of the red rose bush.  He told me he would send word throughout the lop bunny kingdom, to help in our quest.

Orange Holland Lop Rabbit

I followed his directions, towards the small red roses, and saw a Blue Holland Lop.  He also said the same, wanting to help, and pointed his nose in the direction of a trail leading to a grouping of large rocks.

Blue Holland Lop

Broken Smoke PearlBroken Black

This Broken Smoke Peal and this Broken Black lop were the only two bunnies that I saw.  No white.  I told them of this dilemma, and they seemed more than eager to show me the way.  It seems these fellows had seen the White Lop pass by just an hour or so ago. They said he was hopping a straight line, and did not appear to have been swerving, no evidence of drinking a drop.

My hopes are high that we will come across our bunny soon.  I do think there is a misunderstanding, and cannot even imagine such a thing, as this bunny is being accused of!   We will get to the bottom of this soon, I am in hopes!  If anyone wishes to help in this search, it would be appreciated by all.  Just, we beg, do not throw stones if he is in sight.  Do not accuse until we have all of the facts that are needed.  We would not want to falsely accuse our animal friends of deeds in which we are not certain.  Good luck to all.  I will return, now, to the castle and see about fixing a special dinner for all those who have put out the effort in this quest.

Yours truly,

QM, Kathy

Re: MARCH MADNESS - 4 Irish shanties and a crying Hare.

[ Edited ]

Further development has come forward.

I thank you my King and Queen for your assistance.

Trixx Rabbit sat down for a chat with the March Hare. My Irish fae inhabitants interrupted and started singing. While pretty to hear on one go round, apparently they only have 4 songs between them and they've been at it for 5 hours now.

But Trixx in all the racket dig manage to gather more information. Mickel exclaimed the rabbit was wearing a waistcoat, only to be corrected that it was broken spectacles the bunny was wearing. Which, perhaps both garments the suspect may be wearing.

Unfortunately the March hare has gone maudlin, his emotional balance never is stable this time of year. I doubt the drink has helped. Be he has relayed both "broke my best teapot" and "Seduced my best friend" in between sobs.

Lady Carmen!  So good to have you back home!  We have missed you, too!   You must tell us of your adventures.  But first I am so sorry to have to postpone our social meeting with a cup of tea, because first we need to solicit your help, immediately!  It is dire!

You are just in the nick-of-time.   Please do help us in this March Madness?  Lady TiggerBear is in such a quandary these days, with the March Hare intruding, her place is being turned upside down..... and the lost little white lop gone missing.  Finding the answers to what is happening requires all the help you can offer.  We do so need your help.  Please?

With much gratitude,

Re: MARCH MADNESS - 4 Irish shanties and a crying Hare.

Dear Lady Tigger,

Is this the Fellow you are looking for?

I discovered him Nosing around the Entrance to my Wine Cellar the other day.  When he saw Me, Romeo, and Khan looking at him through the Window, he pulled out a Pocket Watch, muttered something, and ran away.  I took this Picture in case I needed to Identify him in future.

In the Middle of the Night, I was awakened by a Fearful Racket.  When I looked out, I saw the Same Rabbit, blowing a Horn!  Again, I snapped his Picture.

I think he did this because he was Angry that he had not been able to Pilfer my Stores.  Romeo and Khan have been keeping a Watchful Eye that prevented him from coming near.

I don't know where he has gone, but if I see him again, I will Notify someone, or I will send the Cowardly Lion after him to Capture him.

Yours,

Dame Dulcinea

Oh dear yes that him, according to my "guests". Though all March Hare did was howlllll.

I only recognize him in his second costume. I was attending a picnic in the Queen of Hearts land last year. Now that's a scary but fun picnic to attend. She's always angry and shouting "off with his head!", though no one ever loses their heads. I think her subjects are used to her calling down sure death and then forgetting it entirely 10 mins later. But it's quite startling. :smileysurprised:

But yes White rabbit was there blowing the horn and calling out titles as one showed up.

What ever is he doing here stealing all the alcohol in our land, and what ever did he do to March Hare???

Re: MARCH MADNESS - Calendar

I went out to the garden to have my blueberry tea.

Look what I found!

I assume this is who everyone is looking for. The minute he saw me and heard the dogs, off he hopped. Off course he had helped himself to the sweets and the tea. But we are always happy to share. But he could of said hello and introduced himself. At least he didn't cause the problems he has in other areas of the kingdom.

Dear Lady Luanne,

I imagine he really Hopped Away because he discovered that your Blueberry Tea was Non-alcoholic! :smileywink:

I think that if we get a Hold of him, we may need to stage an Intervention.

O drunken rabbit

Why do you steal all our booze?

Bring it back right now!

Re: MARCH MADNESS - Calendar

Personally I like a little Baileys in my tea, in my coffee or on my ice cream.

He did take a cupful with him as he ran.

Re: MARCH MADNESS - St. Patrick's Day Party Today!

[ Edited ]

Just for this special occasion, I have had Lady Cynthia create this new green dress for me.

Show us what you are wearing!

The weather is now in the 80's, and everyone must join us on the lawns.  Swimming, dancing, pin the tail on the green donkey...he doesn't mind, we used washable paint, and velcro on the tail!  Pass the potato, apple dipping, all the great games we know and love!  :smileyhappy:  Music, music, music....!!  Tell us what you would like to hear played.  We have a wonderful Irish Band!

We have the Gazebos all lit up with green twinkle lights; the large outdoor fire places are going, which is nice to warm you after a dip in the pool.  Our tables will be set in green decor for the buffet.  Bring your favorite dish to share.  We will have party favors for prizes.  Just use your imaginations, and show us!

And please, everyone watch out for the missing rabbit.  We are trying to capture him!  He loves to steal Irish Whiskey when your back is turned!  So if you see a wobbly rabbit walking woozily wayward, let someone from the Kingdom know immediately! He's been a Royal pain!

Welcome to everyone!

Re: MARCH MADNESS - St. Patrick's Day Party Today!

See, the Green Donkey doesn't mind being green....although, Kermit was a little upset when he had heard that he wasn't the only one green, today!  Piggy is a bit smitten, I think, with the donkey.  She is partial to green.  That may be another reason Kermit is not happy.  But we shall cheer him up!

For those of you who manage to get the tail pinned on the Green Donkey, after drinking several Irish drinks, we have a prize for you!  Yes, your own Tee Shirt!  The part you do not see on the shirt, says:  I'm an Ass!

Re: MARCH MADNESS - St. Patrick's Day Party Today!

Ah, Lady Melissa W., So happy to have you join us!  The party is just beginning, so I do hope you will be able stay a while and enjoy yourself.  Or come back when you feel you can.

The Irish Coffee is the specialty of our head Chef, Cookie Carrot Top.  He's a wonder with the blender, too!  Everything, except the Irish coffee, will be green today.  But we will be serving them in this special commemorate mug, which is yours to keep and take back to your realm!

Enjoy the party!
