To all,
I first thought that this kitty belonged to Lady Dulcinea. Her Kahn was too shy to attended last night's party, and was left alone in her castle. I am thinking perhaps one of those crazy leprechauns maliciously stole him and played a nasty joke on Lady Dulcinea, stuffing her kitty into this glass!
Then Lady TiggerBear says it is her Belinda!
And of course we all know that Lady Susan, aka Vermontcozy, aka Veronica, aka Victoria would claim it is her Cozykat! She had much to much to drink last night to know if her kitten is even missing! She's still laying by the side of the pond, waiting to kiss Mr. Limpet (she doesn't know he went out to sea last night)....she thinks she can work one of her magic spells and turn him into her Prince Charming!.....One of Doris's Dogs just fell into the green Jell-O pond, and is now licking Lady Susan's face...hmmm, what next!......?
Is Doris missing one of her kittens, too? How many kittens do we have wandering the castle grounds? A missing lop eared rabbit, and kittens! My heart! My heart!
And were is my son, King Ryan? He did NOT come home last night, and his duties are being neglected! I am simply beside myself! I hope he was not smitten with a little kitten called The Green Knight....and has now run off the way his sister did! [[[swoon]]] My smelling salts, PLEASE!

Not to Worry, Queen Mother - Khan was safely Camouflaging himself safely from Marauding Leprechauns on my Bed when Romeo and I returned from the Party!

I do! It has to be Belinda.
She not either in her basket, nor is she chasing the trolls around. Her and the trolls are friends.. well they love her even though she chases them.
And now they're besides themselves with worry. ![]()
Terribly glad Khan was found. ![]()
I suspect most of this mayhem is being visited on me. I suspect nefarious plans from the (uses finger against side of head and makes loopies) Queen of Hearts. Perhaps she thinks I did something at that picnic. Truthfully all I did was eat chicken finger sandwiches, drink red tea, and play this odd game of croquet with flamingos. But paranoia is rife in that Kingdom.
I've sent a rather nice Flame Red Croquet mallet with sparkles that leaves a heart impression when you rest it during play to QOH, with an additional thank you for inviting me note. Perhaps the first note got lost and she feels I was rude.

I asked Mickel about this. He's saying something about pretty lady, she'd make a good faery queen. Oh dear! Well it's flattering at least.

Oh, I am so happy for you and your kitten, Khan, Lady Dulcinea!...how could I be so stupid as to get him mixed up with a tabby?....they look nothing alike! And Khan assuredly looks the King....King Khan of the cats!(((groan))))
It must be Belinda, and I'm glad Lady TiggerBear, you have recovered her! Now, if only Lady TiggerBear, you can get her unstuck from the glass, then all will be well, in that department at least. I know we still have the M Hare, the Queen being upset at Lady TiggerBear, and our little lop is still missing. We do need to sort through some of this soon....and in the meantime.....
All of the liquor in the realm is being confiscated for the time being...a moratorium on drinking..until these crazies are rounded up! But, I have a feeling there is a brewing still out in the woods, and that crazy leprechaun that Queen Pollenasia had following her, is the ring leader!
Speaking of departments, the Department head of Calendars and Maintenance tells me we are to have another celebration coming soon....The Vernal Equinox! I shall have to get busy. What shall we do for this day?
I am in need of a cup of tea, then a nap....cleaning all the green stuff off of every surface has been a major undertaking. I think next year we shall use a different die. This one was bought from a passing caravan of gypsies....and was said to have special pigments that wash off easily, which hasn't been the case, and someone said that one of the wagons was seen to have a pot of gold in the back of it. I couldn't swear to any of this, except that Papa Smurf, this morning, brought me a piece of gold doubloon, found amongst the old butts on the lawn And speaking of old butts, I wonder where Lady Debbie has been? Has anyone seen her?....She turned in early last night, and has not been seen since. One of the wine stewards went missing, tool...ah, well....
Carry on,
QM Kathy

I am hoping the liquor is back for the equinox party. I am having my coconut mango oolong tea without Baileys. I will survive. This tea does have a very good taste. I know this was done for the good of all in the kingdom. I am glad that Belinda is back and that Khan was found. But Susan (Countess Victoria) still has not found Cozycat. There is some story about the cat having a limo ride and then being kidnapped. So much drama.

Well unfortunately Belinda did have to get wet. But a little water helped unfluff the fur and she slipped right out.

Boy, she did fluff out. Maybe a little conditioner will help.

This seems to be a cattish situation we have on our hands, these days! I do hope that Countess Cozy recovers her favorite feline. We will help all we can. Can she describe this kitten to us? Our Cowardly Lion is the best investigator we have for these cases, and if she requests, we will send him to her side.
Lady Luanne, You can be sure that the liquid libation will be resolved by this Saturday, the day of our Vernal Equinox, as Queen Polly shows to us in these pictures she has posted on all of the trees around the castle. I feel she does not want us to forget to invite her to this event?
But first, our attention is directed towards LadyTiggerBear, as she is still in need of assistance with her own situation with the March Hare and his friends....have you heard word of any new outcome of these problematic occurrences?
Do keep us informed?
QM, Kathy

My dear Kingdom,
The Vernal Equinox is another day of celebration....Spring is here! I know a lot of you can hardly wait. Our Spring has already begun, here on the south lawns. And seeing that the Green is cleared away from the St. Patrick's day celebration...just leads us to more green to come, for the green of the hills and valleys below are showing their brightness.
An Invitation to Spring!
The grasses of the castle grounds are peeking through the snows of these winter months
and little leaves of our bulbs are starting to strut their stuff....
Up from the ground the bulbs come, out on the branches the buds find the sun!
But it's not too late to start more planting of bulbs! I just bought three different Dutch bulbs...Mixtures of each color, size, shape and look....The hardy Gladiolus are deer free, if you live on the deer side of our realm....the Freesias will add more delicate colors and blooms to this mixture....and lastly, the Grecian Windflowers! Deer free and something new this year!
Tomorrow will be planting day in the Kingdom of Wordsmithonia. So, gather your bulbs, flower seeds, and trowels, and head on over to our prepared gardens! We will meet early, have tea, set in the garden at noon, and celebrate this new day, and new beginning of life! Happy Spring everyone!
QM, Kathy

Khan thanks you all for your Concern, and says he didn't know there were So Many other BluePoints in the Realm! He and Romeo are taking a Nap right now.

The Cowardly Lion, who has been overseeing my Castle at Oz while I stay at my Crystal Palace of Fantasia, has just informed me that a Very Strange character has shown up there. He says that his name is Hatta and that he is looking for his friend Haigha.
The Lion had a sketch artist draw this Picture of the Stranger:

Later, though, someone found a Camera, and took this Photo:

He says that his Tea Parties are not as much Fun without his Friend. I think that Perhaps he means the March Hare?

That's March Hare's friend... he's been wailing as stolen. Is he alright? Please send him over to my castle, he is very missed.

Belinda is a blueish grey tabby. The middle kitty looks to be a Himalayan, the bottom cute fellow is a brown tabby. Where are all the kitties coming from? ![]()
Belinda is home by the way; nice, dry, full of cream, and back to chasing the trolls around. ![]()

Lady TiggerBear,
I am happy to hear Belinda is with you, and being her usual silly girl, chasing the trolls. They do love to play hide and seek with her! As long as they don't get too rambunctious and accidentally step on her...they are rather large creatures....The trolleys would be a much better choice for her, but whatever she likes, that is just fine.
I do believe that Countess Susan has put a curse on our realm. She is sending all the stray kitties to our kingdom, to confuse us. I am not sure what to do to counter this curse....
I will take in the little brown tabby, since it came to the back door of the castle's kitchen, and the cooks became attached to him. He will be neutered soon, as well as given a name...Any suggestions as to a name? The cooks want to call him Meatball, because of his love for their special meatballs, although they are not made with meat, but with tuna. A variation of their tuna loaf and egg noodles. He loves noodles too! I really think he would eat anything put in front of his little nose! He may have been once starved, wherever he came from. Please be on the look-out for any more strays.
Thank you so much,
QM Kathy

To all.
Our dear friend, Queen Pollenasia, has offered to help plant our expansive lawns this year. Here is some of what she has already planted. And we thank her immensely! I will have tea set soon. I know everyone is working hard to bring in the spring! Show us all what you have done with our parks and lawns!

Here are just a few of the areas that our gardeners have taken charge of, replanting after the winter storms.

This little area is one of my favorite places in the garden to sit and read.

And, even Mr. Limpet wanted to help out, once we cleaned the green Jell-O out of the pond.
