Re: MARCH MADNESS - What is your special place for tea?

[ Edited ]

Having tea...for all.

Here is one of the places that I think would be nice to have our tea.  I love to walk within a shaded path, which leads to an open, sunny Japanese garden.  So restful, I think.  But, please tell us what place you would like to sit for tea?  We have so many hidden gardens/places in our Kingdom, show us yours.

Re: MARCH MADNESS - March 20, Spring is here!

I have such a lovely view from the patio of my cottage.

The gazebo was finished this spring. Such a lovely spot to read and have tea.

I think I will add a few chairs closer to the water.

Lady Luanne,

Those tulips are absolutely beautiful!  You are so fortunate to have this view!  And your area by the pond, is a wonderful peaceful setting....yes, very nice, indeed, for a tea party!  The creatures of the forest are starting to take notice!  Watch your Koi!  The kitties are still wandering the grounds - hungry, I'm afraid.

Queen Pollenasia was kind and helped me order a new tea set to start my spring with.

Lady, Luanne,

How lucky you are to have the Queen's help in your selection.  This is absolutely the perfect Spring tea set.  Fabulously springy!  I love it! (Seriously- A potter I knew made tea pots with these tiny drops of clay slip on them, somewhat like these have on them ....his work is one of a kind, though)

Becke, nice grounds...but look at the subject header before you post....and post after the last person who has posted to a subject that pertains....We need to stay in context.  We have a section in this thread just for these pictures...it's always a surprise to open one of your posts, I never know what to expect!   Does this look like "Belinda is home - Kitty Curse" to you?  :smileyvery-happy:  I see no cats in these pictures!  Change to the threaded view, and you'll see what I'm talking about, if it isn't clear in your linear view.

I do believe that Countess Susan has put a curse on our realm.  She is sending all the stray kitties to our kingdom, to confuse us.   I am not sure what to do to counter this curse....

I will take in the little brown tabby, since it came to the back door of the castle's kitchen, and the cooks became attached to him.  He will be neutered soon, as well as given a name...Any suggestions as to a name?  The cooks want to call him Meatball, because of his love for their special meatballs,  although they are not made with meat, but with tuna.  A variation of their tuna loaf and egg noodles.  He loves noodles too!  I really think he would eat anything put in front of his little nose!  He may have been once starved, wherever he came from.   Please be on the look-out for any more strays.

Thank you so much,

Oh you try telling her they're too big! She's fearless.

My Troll friends; the adults treat it like peko-bo, now their kits are only twice her size and well they kept getting pounced by her. The kits find it fun and the adults are patient and love her so.. all good.

Not sure it is a curse, kittens bring love and cuddles. More a blessing in my mind.

Hmm tuna's meat, well was last time I checked. :smileywink: And fishballs just isn't cute.

Ask him if he like being called Meatball. If he doesn't, ask him if likes the name noodle.

The Trolls have a good idea for our new cat friends which should help the fish. After Belinda went missing they were worried and thought a bell on her collar might help find her next time. They made several beautiful crystal tiny bells and would be happy to make more.

So many beautiful tulips. I went on a walk with the dogs.

Tulips everywhere.

I decided to bring some in to the house.

Now for tea.

Dear lady TiggerBear,

It is so nice that your trolls and Bellinda are playing nice with each other.   What fun they are having.

I did have qualms about calling the kitten siege a curse.  Only in the eyes of the Countess Susan, to add these kittens to our Kingdom for our confusion in finding your lost one, does it come across as a curse.  The strays, as you say, are a blessing.  We will put them up in a special enclosure, to give them a play yard, and lots of sunny windows to perch in.  At least until we find good and loving homes for them.  And when we take them for walks, I think the little bells would be a very good idea!  I would not want these kittens to get lost, or scare the fish in the ponds.  So all should have these little crystal bells to wear!  Please have the trolls make them at once.

I am very much in love with this little tabby, as he follows me up the stairs to my chambers, every evening now.  The cooks find this amusing, as he spends the day with them.  I think as evening falls, his little tummy is filled, and he needs to cuddle and feel secure in my bed at night.  He curls right in the crook of my arm, with his chin on my shoulder....and purrs so contentedly.  Turning myself over, seems to be a bit of an issue, as I fear of disturbing him.  But, I am sure we will work this out in time.

I still am in a quandary as to what to call him.  Meatball, or Noodle, he comes to any name that sounds like food!  He has such a cute twinkle in his eyes, and mischief seems to be his middle name!  He got into my yarn last night.  Tossing these balls of yarn all around the room, under the chairs and the bed.  I was on my hands and knees trying to gather them up, after he fell asleep in my knitting basket!  He is such a little scamp!    That's it!  I called him a little Rascal last night, and he came to me as if he knew that was his name!  So, I think Rascal it is!  What do you think?

My Dear Queen Mother Kathy,

Congratulations on the Addition to you Family!  I am sure that little Rascal will bring you Great Joy.  I told Khan and Romeo about him, and Romeo got excited, telling me that Rascal was his Name before he came to live with me!  He greatly Approves the name for your new Furbaby.

I can imagine just what Rascal looked like, curled up in your Knitting Basket, because I have this Lovely Figurine in my collection!

Re: MARCH MADNESS - Kitty Blessing

Mother,

I deeply apologize for my absence but walking through the Royal Forrest of Fire Trees I stepped into a rather large hole and could not climb out.  I wasn't sure what I was to do until I found a tunnel at the bottom of the hole leading to the North.  I didn't know what else to do so I followed it until I thought my feet would fall off.  I had to take a little nap and when I woke up I found that my facial hair had grown as if I had been asleep for days and I was too weak to really move.

Luckily for me, the kind rabbits of The Watership Down neighborhood happend to be passing by and they were able to build a makeshift sleigh to get me to safety.  I was tended by a very nice young man who made sure I regained my strength in order to come home to all of you.  My brain is still rather fuzzy to everything that happened while I was away, maye one day I will be able to remember and tell you the rest of my story.

So here I sit in my lovely suite, after a long bath, spending time with my son who I dearly missed.  I will be down shortly to see the new gardens as they look rather lovely.

Your Loving Son Who Is Very Glad To Be Home,

MARCH MADNESS - King Ryan returns to us!

My dear beloved Son,

I am so happy, and relieved to see you once again!  I feared for your life, all of this time.  And our little Prince has missed you sorely!

I can't believe what happened to you!  And here I thought you were spirited away by The Green Knight!  To be safe and sound, once again in your kingdom, must be of great relief to you.  You are safe here, my dear....well, as safe as any place!  I also feared that Godzilla had consumed you in your journey!  This has been such a trial to deal with, getting back to our Castles, if away!  Luckily for us we have these kind rabbits in our realm.  But it has been so long, almost a full month....and so much has happened here, as well.  We must catch up!  Join us later, when you are feeling better.  Lady Dulcinea is of great service to you and our kingdom.  We give our thanks to her for her healing powers!

North. Father held him while I tug gently as the 3 inch bit Buster hadn't consumed yet. 15 mins of life saving hell for the poor teen. He never did forgive father, me he forgave in minutes. And the yarn was put up, Buster opened the basket hatch lid. His ability for mischief was how he got his name sake. Part of a tag team with his sister who we named Trouble. Put something heavy on the lid top, if it's seen where you hide the yarn snakes.

Dame Dulcinea,

Thank you so much for the arrangements they did relax me and I'm feeling like a new man today.  I'm still a little tired as I think I caught bronchitis down in those tunnels but whatever that young man gave me seems to have helped and your Healing Arrangments seemed to have done the rest of the job.

I have heard from others the great fun you guys were enjoying while I was gone and I'm sorry I missed out on it.

Hopefully I have a light calendar load after this week and I will be able to join you all once again on a regular basis.

Re: MARCH MADNESS - King Ryan returns to us!

Mother,

Thank you for welcoming me back with open arms.  I missed you and the rest of the family badly.  It's nice to be home again and I must say that I'm almost sorry I missed meeting Gogzilla on my way home.  I'm not sure what I would have done had I done so, but I'm sure it would have been interesting.

The Green Knight has been around again?  I thought he was going to leave me alone for now on.  I just don't know what to do about him.  So people just need to learn that when something ends, it's over and that everyone needs to move on.

I do want to thank you for the new lovely tea set that Madame Caje delivered to me along with her new creation of lavendar/tangerine/gooseberry tea.  The tea along with Dame Dulcinea's healing arrangements seem to be helping me relax and feel like my old self.

The lovely indoor garden added to the side of my solarium was another lovely addition that has helped to relax me, please let Papa Smurf now how please I am with it.

I will be down later after I've read Aidan his bedtime story.
