Prince Aidan's Birthday

To All of Wordsmithonia,

My dear Nobles and honorable citizens, since today is Prince Aidan's 7th birthday I declare that the day be filled with nothing but joy and laughter.  We will be having a open house party in the palace today and all are welcome to partake in the festitivities.  Presents are welcome of course but not neccesary.

I have asked Emmet Kelley and the rest of his ilk to come out of exile for the day where they will be entertaining in the 5th floor ballroom.  I've been told that they have come up with several new shows and now include elephants, kangaroos, and lemmings in their act.  I would hightly encourage everyone to visit them as they will be sent back into exile once the festiviites are over.  I don't need to be reminded of my coulrophobia any longer than neccesary.

Madame Caje has graciously set up a tea bar on the 2nd floor landing and will be offerings samples of over 336 different tea flavors, several of which she came up with herself.

Our chefs have set up a wonderful buffet that will be located on the 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th, and 9th floors.  Burges has has done some wonderful things with the staff and they will be handing out trays dressed as purple and orange penguins.  The costumes are truly something to see.

Woody Woodpecker and Chilly Willy and the rest of the residents of the Victory Garden Maze have set up some wonderful games and activiites within the maze itself and I do hope that you go and see them.

That is just some of the wonderful things available today.  I do hope that if you come across any others during the day that you come and let us know about them.

Most of all be merry, have fun, and don't forget to tell Prince Aidan happy birthday.

Re: Prince Aidan's Birthday

This is a most happy occassion!  Lots of streamers and balloons to go around.

I hope Aidan has had a wonderful day and lots of joy.  I am sorry I am late to the party, as I stopped by a friends house who has shared with me she is pregnant and just found out today all is well with the pregnancy at this point. (As she was afraid of complications)  So today has turned out to be a joyous day all around!

However my mode of transpartation has broke down.  But, even with that happening Kenya was able to get me here for a short time to share this wonderous day with you.

I hope you don't mind but I have brought a small gift for Prince Aidan...

It is a Gold bicycle.  You have to click here then scroll down to see it.  I do hope he loves it!

Happy Birthday Prince Aidan!

Charlie,

Thank you so much, the fireworks were lovely.  Aidan especially like the ones shaped like animals.  His favorite were the blue whale and gorilla ones.  They were just extraordinary.

Re: Prince Aidan's Birthday

Lady Mel,

Aidan is gushing tears of joy over his wonderous new bicycle.  I must admit that it's rather lovely.  I'm thinking of having one made for myself so we can ride them together.  Now, I'm not sure how Nanny Poppins and Burges will feel about the bike if Aidan starts riding it around the palace but that's their problem.

Melvin seems to like it as well so I'm going to have to come up with one that dragoons can ride as well.  I think I will let Handy Smurf work out something.

Thank you once again,

King Ryan

Re: Prince Aidan's Birthday

My I present to Prince Aidan a birthday gift.

I acquired the Belt of Bounce from a blue hooded dwarf fellow.

After thorough testing I deem it safe and completely wild fun. Press the button on the buckle and each step, fall, ect.. bounces you up off the ground or wall. Press again you stop bouncing. Adjustable in size so it can't be outgrown.

I think any seven year old boy will find it endlessly useful. :smileyvery-happy: Hope he likes it.

Re: Prince Aidan's Birthday

Lady Tigger,

I'm not sure if I should thank your or not.  I must say Prince Aidan is more than excited by his present and he has been trying it out all morning.  He is driving Nanny Poppins absolutely bonkers though the Trolleys are having a blast watching him.  I'm thinking of giving it a try myself the next time I have to travel out into the countryside to visit the elementals.  It would make the trip vastly different than any other form of travel I've tried.

Thank you once again.

Happy Happy Birthday to Prince Aidan.

I would be delighted to attend his party and I'm wrapping his gift right now, or I'm trying to but it won't stop squirming or breathing fire. Ahem, I'm not telling.

Re: Prince Aidan's Birthday

[ Edited ]

Happy Birthday, my little Prince Aidan!  I wanted to see you open your presents yesterday, but I'm afraid something horrible happened to detain me!  I am so sorry.

My son, Ryan, as I was descending the staircase, a clown came from behind me and handed me a

a banana drink.  He said it was from you.

I assumed he was part of the hired clowns for the party....but, I'm afraid this clown may not have been, as after I took one sip of this drink, and saw the evil look on his face, I lost consciousness..... This morning I found myself in the dungeon, asleep on a cot, in the room with the blue door that was marked, R.U.B.B.I.S.H.  I have no idea how I got there.  I awoke when I heard an echo of something bouncing around above my head.   Only then did I realized what may have happened.

Dear me, I fear we may have had some prankster about, or Sir Charlie let Mr. Monkey loose.  No harm was done, except for a scare, and a raging headache this morning.

I just hope this monkey clown is nowhere around.  If he does not belong to Sir Charlie, we may have to find a way to dispose of him.  I will leave those matters up to you, my son, or someone who has knowledge of how this can be done.  I do know that Mr. Emmett Kelly would never send a clown such as that one to a little boys birthday party.  There may have been a mix-up with this one.

I will hope to see Aidan later, to give him my gifts, then.  I slipped a little coloring book under his door yesterday morning, before he woke.  I hope he found it.  The larger present is outside in the Maze.  I know how he likes to hunt for hidden treasures around the castle, and thought he would enjoy this hunt.  I will get myself dressed, now, and eat a little something before I head outside to watch him play.  I see from my window that he has been enjoying his new bicycle, and Melvin is chomping at his bits, anxious to have one of his own.  I am not sure how this can be done, but if there is a will, there is a way to construct one for all of the dragons and dragoons to play with.

I will see you later, my son, Ryan, and little Prince Aidan.

Re: Prince Aidan's Birthday

I have just read this horrible news and I hope everyone is ok, Audric has been with me the whole time these three days, so I think someone might have passed our security , we will need to start investigating immediately, I am heading down to the library in search of illusions that will protect everyone in the castle, I propose to make some guards in order to be safe.

Re: Prince Aidan's Birthday

Mother,

I'm so sorry to hear about your horrible experience with that horrible monkey clown.  I knew letting Emmet Kelley out of exile was a mistake.  I'm not saying his ilk are responsible for this horrific event, but them being around was the excuse that this prankster needed.  I have a feeling that this is the same trouble maker that left that horrible book in my reading room a few months ago.

I am offically declaring all forms of clownery as outlawed in the Kingdom of Wordsmithonia, other than on the isalnd that they are exiled to.  This behavior will not be tolerated.

I have asked The Man in the Yellow Hat to look into the matter just in case this was just some mischief loving monkey that was pulling a prank, I'm not so sure he will find anything though.  Broomhildaguard and Lion-0 have informed me that the palace guards will be on the lookout for any stray banana peels or other evidence that may lead us to the perpetrator.  Mevlin wanted me to tell you that he will keep all four eyes peeled as well.

On to happier things, Aidan loved his coloring book and I saw him earlier trying to bounce with Lady Tigger's present and color all at the same time.  It was quite an intersting sight to see.

Prince Aidan sends his love and is looking forward to seeing you later.

If you need anyting please send Burges or your maid to my suite.
