Love to knit with Knifty Knitter Looms. Is anyone else loom or rake knitting?

I am a fan of using the Knifty Knitter round looms to make hats! Sooo much easier than reading a pattern...my brother uses the other looms to make a blanket thing but it was kind of slow going for him. Does it get faster?

try using the extra large circle loom going back and forth to make a blanket. try using a small steel crochet hook instead of the tool that comes with the loom. try using the fashion stitch as described in the 99 cents pamphlet. these methods make the knitting go faster.
