Yea, this books keeps you engaged the whole time...and then you say - 'I can't believe the author just said that' along the way...probably more than once...

:I highly recommend any book by Alexander McCall Smith...but start with his No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency series which is now being televised on HBO weekly.

His dialogue is witty and fast paced with tons of humor thrown in........when done with this series start:  44 Scotland Street neighborhood novels. Most of his books are short in size but tall in substance.

Peppermill, if you do a google search on Jerome Christopher King, he floods the first two pages of google..lol.  He's a horror fiction and philosophy author.  I think you need to search by the full name or the book title(s).

Sandra -- Do you have one of those that you'd recommend for biographical information?

None of the book entries  that I looked at had biographical information, but I must admit I haven't been diligent about going through a  lot of them.  Much of those first two pages seemed to be book seller entries before fading to people with similar names, but not clear that they were this author. I fully expected to find his own web page, a Wiki entry, or an interview.  If they are there, I missed them.
