1980's YA Mail order Club Titles

It's been driving me crazy that I can't recall the name of the club or any of the books. The one plot I distinctly remember is about a girl named Maggie who moved to Alaska with her dad. She becomes a petite model, has a best friend named Brenda, and develops a crush on a guy named Matt, who is a pilot. I read a lot of these books as a 9-10 year old, and got rid of them long ago. If I could just remember the title, the monkey will be off my back!

Would it be the Especially for Girls mail order book club?  That specific book isn't ringing a bell, but there were a lot of other great 80s books from that club.
