Hey all, I'm hoping that one of you may have read this book.
I can't remember the title or the author of the book. I read it a few years ago.
It was about a couple and the husband was slowly poisoning his wife and she thought that she was going crazy. She eventually finds out that he is poisoning her, but struggles to find anyone that will believe her because of her behaviour. I think that he even keeps her locked in the house for awhile once she finds out.
I think that it gets to the point where he has lots of sympathy from people about his wife that is seen as crazy, but he is the one that is doing it to her.
Can't remember his reason for doing it and I think (not certain) that it was set in a town in the UK or maybe America, bit hazy on that bit.
Does this ring a bell with anyone?
