I'm looking for a book I used to check out at the library almost every week when I was younger.
The book was about animal anatomy, and for each animal, it had a clear plastic page with the animals fleshed out form on it, and when you turned the page, it would show the animals skeleton underneath, and explain different facts about the animal.
It may have been the other way around, with the skeleton on the clear page, and the body on the opposite page, I may possibly be confused.
It was a slightly bigger book, all black with a skeleton on the front, if I remember correctly.
It wasn't dinosaurs, but modern day animals. I remember it having a bat, a horse, a cobra, and others such as that.
Thanks so much for any help you can give. ![]()

There are several comparative anatomy texts with the overlays. Probably your best option is to search under books on the home page and see if any of them suit your needs. I am over 40 years out of college so I am a bit out of touch on titles and features. I did check my copy of Hyman and the second edition at least did not have the overlays. There might also be something under textbooks. Hope that this helps.
