Looking for a book that I read in the 80's, was a paperback. Main character was a woman that got an apartment overlooking a river. Found out the former owner was a witch and a coven was in the building.... she became part of the coven...maybe the leader. A demon or something escaped when they performed a ceremony and she was raped?? Details are kind of hazy but any assistance would be appreciated...
