Book club novel

I'm looking for another book about a book club. It's a group of women all different ages and backgrounds who create a bookclub which coincides with whats happening to them personally. All I remember is that one character becomes a widow and finds out that her husband had a second family, or at least a child by another woman she never knew about till he was dead. Another character is from another country and dealing with the search for her adoptive mother and another character owns a failing ice cream shop with her boyfriend and trying to get out of debt so the two of them can get married. Does anyone know this book?

Re: Book club novel

I'm not sure if any of these are the correct ones but I thought I would throw them in anyway.

Re: Book club novel

Not sure, but could it be The Jane Austen Book Club by Karen Joy Fowler?
