The book I am looking for is a series. It starts off with a girl who lived in washington or oregon. She had a amazing family and life in highschool. One day her family (mom/dad/little sister and dog) all died in a car crash coming back from her cheer practice. They saw a deer and her father mistakenly crashed into a tree. She was the only survivor and went to live with her aunt in california. she went from being popular preppy to antisocial. She had one friend who was gothic/wannabe. After the car crash she gained"powers". She constantly was listening to her ipod or else she would hear everyones thoughts One day a really sexy man came to class and i think his name was Damen? He was the only person that she could read. FAST FORWARD. turns out that damen has eternal life and has lived for thousands of years. he drinks a special juice and doesnt eat. his ex wife/gf has repeatedly killed the girl in the book( i cant remember her name) until she killed the damens ex wife who also had eternal life. damen saved her from the car crash by giving her eternal life so he wouldnt have to chase her next life again. there is other worlds that you can go to. she still sees her sister because she got lost on the bridge to "heaven" or crossing over with her parents. etc. SOUND FAMILIAR??
