A good few years ago - 2007 to be exact I read a Book about a girl in America who got up one day to find that her parents and I think her brother too had vanished. There was no sign of a break-in etc or any clue to think that something bd had happened e.g Kidnap, there was no note etc, the house was as it should be and as it was when she went to bed the night before, just without her family. She hired a Private Investigator and also had contact with her Gran I think it was but had no other family I don't think. She finds out what happened to her parents and brother in the end. I can't remember that much as it was years ago I read it but I am pretty sure that in the end there is something to do with a car getting fished out a deep pool in a Quarry with a body in it - possibly her Mum? But not 100%. If anyone can help me find the name of this Book or the Author it would be amazing as I am so desperat to know, It has been bugging me for ages!
