I have some pages of an old childrens book but not the title or author. I'm hoping someone can help me. The book words are:
Floppy puppy wants to chew, so let him have a worn-out shoe.
Hear this little donkey "He-haw, he-haw, here I stay.
Little goose has a stiff-legged walk and say, "Honk, Honk" when he tries to talk.
Gentle calf in the clover lies, munching grass and shooing flies.
Ducky waddles down the path and quacks, "I'm going to take a bath."
Little field mouse, soft and gray, squeaks and scampers through the hay.
Baby pig a pink and sweeet, he squeals a lot and likes to eat.
Woolly lamb when his play mates call, bounces off like a popcorn ball.

I don't know the title or author, but this was my son's favorite book in 1982. It was the first book that he read; I believe from memory. I would love to buy it for my grandson. I thought it was a Little Golden Book. Please post if you locate it. Thanks.

This is a book from my childhood that I recently wanted to rediscover. I was lucky enough to find it and thought I'd pass the info along.
The title of the book is Baby Animals The story is by Naoma Zimmerman and illustrations by Marge Opitz
It was produced by Rand McNally as part of their Junior Elf Series.Copyright 1955
You can find used copies on Amazon for $10.00 and under.
Hope that helped and good reading!
