I once read a really good book, that I would like to read again. It was my sister's book that she no longer has and can't remember the title or the fact that she had such a book either. I am hoping if I break down some details some one may have read this book and will remember the title and or author.
The book starts out with a couple on a cruise ship, there in love enjoying the night scenery, The husband is affectionate and such until he gently hoist her right over the stern of the cruise ship. (LOL) The wife ultimately is rescued by a straggler living on a near by island and of course they eventually end up together. The husband in the meantime is pursued by a man of great wealth and fire, (mob tactics) He has his large bumbling body guard readily in pursuit of him and all this takes place if not mistaken in the everglades. Some one was eaten by the alligator towards the end (I believe it was the husband)
I found the book, quite humorous as well as a good read. I hope some one else has read a story similar and can tell me the name of the book.
