I wish I knew the name

I read this book long ago and I can't remember the title. All I remember was that it had a black cover i think. The book was about a girl that lived in an apartment above the restaurant here parents owned. She found a girl stealing her stuff and she became friends with her. She get to the girls old school and everything to find out her name. It was a young adult novel and they also used a computer in the book so i'm assuming it had to be published in the 2000s. I never finished it and I regret it immensely. I remembered the library that I check it out from, but the library was going through renovations and was restocked with new books.

LOL. I bought my first home PC in 1983. Funny how ancient history fades from generational memory. :catlol:

Re: I wish I knew the name

Perhaps this one?  It doesn't fit all your criteria though.  The cover has been redone I think because the one on amazon has a black cover.
