I cant remember the title or author but I can remember the cover. There is a magician standing on the edge of a cliff wearing blue robes. He has a staff in his hands and there is a falcon flying above him.
The story revolves around a young boy and a girl who's brother gets kidnaped I think. The girl grows up into a beautiful young woman. The boy was a weakling as a kid but at some point finds himself with a woodcutter or something like that and becomes stronger as he gets older. One of them has magic or it is the girl's brother This is the first book. There is at least another book that continues the story, but I think that it is a trilogy.
I sort of remember the name being Storm Falcon but when I google it, it does not come up.
