Looking for a Harlequin Romance novel set in a Casino, printed in the 80's

I borrowed this book from a friend when I was a teen, and I always really liked it.  I'd love to find it again.  It would have been published no later than 1988, and I believe it was in the "Harlequin Presents" series with the white cover and the the circle of artwork in the middle.

It takes place in a Casino/hotel on an island (in the Caribbean, I think).  I believe the heroine was 25, and had inherited the casino from her father.  Seven years prior, when she was a teanger, the hero had worked for her father, learning the business.  She fell in love with him, and they were very close friends, but he was too old for her so he kept things platonic.  The hero was from New York City (the Bronx or Queens).

Here's where my memory is hazy: When she was a teenager, they got together for one night, and then he left her the next day to go back to NYC and broke her heart.  Her father, who was hurting for money, forced her into a loveless marriage with a rich jerk.  Seven years later, both her father and husband died, ahd she was running the casino/hotel.  The hero was back on the island and running his own casino down the street.  Of course, she hated him, but he kept coming around trying to sleep with her.  Her casino/hotel was in trouble and she was just trying to keep things afloat when someone burned down her casino/hotel.

She was sleeping when the fire started, and dreaming of the hero, when suddenly, the hero was shaking her awake and rescuing her from the fire.  They escaped out the window, but the police thought she had started the fire to get the insurance money, so she was arrested.  The hero bailed her out, on the condition that she marry him.  She was furious, but had no choice but to agree.  She kind of went into a depression after that, and wouldn't leave her room in the hero's hotel.  Finally, after spending some time with the hero, she decided to give him what he wanted.  So she got up one morning and jogged down to the secluded beach where he went for a morning swim, and seduced him.  After that, they had it out and he explained that he had been in love with her the whole time and had left because he hadn't made his fortune yet, and because he had been too old for her when she was just 17/18.

She was very suspicious that he had started the fire in order to get rid of the competition, but if I remember correctly, it was another competitor who did it.

I think the hero's name was Joe or Nick, and he had an Italian last name.  I also think they both had dark hair.

I've searched alllll over, but I can't for the life of me remember the name or the author.  It was a really good book, though.

Thanks.

I actually found this book myself by searching fictiondb.com. It's "A Long Way from Heaven" by Susanne McCarthy.
