I am looking for a book of collected English poetry. I last had my hands on it in the mid-60's Somehow, i doubt it is out of print although maybe revised. It had mostly English and American poets included. Vachel Lindsay, Milton, John Donne, up to ee cummings and Robert Frost. If it has been reissues, i would think some more modern poets would be included. I can remember the cover was yellow/goldish color and white. I really loved it. I lost it years ago, but would like to get it on my nook. Any ideas?

I think the book was used in Public School extemporaneous poetry reading contests in the early 60's.

Best Loved Poems of the American People might be what you're looking for. I don't remember off-hand whether it has English poetry or not, but I thought I'd mention it.
