I'm trying to remember the name of Romance novel I read years ago and getting no help from the internet. It's about a woman who marries a sheriff. Her son's name is Jason, I believe and he has a daughter. The boy loves the guy, but the girl disapproves of the woman. They do this so her former inlaws don't have a reason to try and take her son from her. The boy's father is dead.
