Trying to remember/find the very first romance novel my grandmother gave me to read.
There were three novels in one book but not related or by the same author.
The only one I remember quite clearly was a woman who's husband was a whale fisherman... He carved her a small sculpture from whale bone to keep close to her heart in her corset.
He ends up being lost at sea and after a while she remarries. Then years later he returns to find his wife married to someone else..... Any feedback would be greatly appreciated
