Hi, everyone. I'm trying to find a book that I knew several years ago but I never got the chance to read the whole book. In the book, there's this man whose nickname is River ( I can't remember his real name), and he is in an mental ward. There was an incident several years ago where his wife died (was murdered, I think) and he received a head injury, and then it's gets sort of fuzzy...anyway, he ends up in this mental ward where he is kept doped up on drugs to keep him complacent. But then he cleverly avoids taking the drugs so that his mind is clear and he can escape. Then he meets this lady whose name I can't remember, and I'm pretty sure she's in law enforcement, and she helps him figure out the story of who ruined his life and stuck him in a mental ward. Sorry about being vague on the details. If anyone can help me find this book, I would be very grateful!
