SOS :D

I read a book about 5 years ago, and I want to read it again, but can't remember anything, except the plot. Which, BTW let me just say I'm glad I'm not the only one that has this problem... this blog/thread proves that. :smileyvery-happy:

Anyway, the book is about a boy who is in college, and over Christmas/New Year break is asked to go to his grandpa's house in like Maine or somewhere really cold and snowy. He gets there, is hating every minute of it, and feels akward and slightly annoyed by his grandfather. The book progresses, and you learn that the grandpa has a safe next to his bed and I think 10 letters/stories. The boy gets to read one letter a day and at the end of his christmas break gets to pick one gift out of the safe the goes along with one of the stories, e.i money, shoes, and a bunch of other stuff. He ends up choosing the letters/stories that his grandfather wrote instead of anything else that was in the safe. It's a really good book; very well written. I do remember the author was/is a Man, and the title of the book I belive is two words, like "Christmas Break" or "Grandpa's Safe" or something like that... Anyway... if anyone has the faintest clue as to what Im talking about, please... hit me back! Thanks ~Kirei~
