Since 1997, you’ve been coming to to discuss everything from Stephen King to writing to Harry Potter. You’ve made our site more than a place to discover your next book: you’ve made it a community. But like all things internet, is growing and changing. We've said goodbye to our community message boards—but that doesn’t mean we won’t still be a place for adventurous readers to connect and discover.

Now, you can explore the most exciting new titles (and remember the classics) at the Barnes & Noble Book Blog. Check out conversations with authors like Jeff VanderMeer and Gary Shteyngart at the B&N Review, and browse write-ups of the best in literary fiction. Come to our Facebook page to weigh in on what it means to be a book nerd. Browse digital deals on the NOOK blog, tweet about books with us,or self-publish your latest novella with NOOK Press. And for those of you looking for support for your NOOK, the NOOK Support Forums will still be here.

We will continue to provide you with books that make you turn pages well past midnight, discover new worlds, and reunite with old friends. And we hope that you’ll continue to tell us how you’re doing, what you’re reading, and what books mean to you.

Re: Welcome to Lost Books!

I am having trouble finding this particular book. I read it in high school (about
6 years ago) and I can't remember the title of it. Would love to read it

I think that is by Karen Kingsbury (but I ain't sure). Anyway I
know that it is a series and it's about sisters who are all married. The one
sister has all boys (2 or 3) and becomes pregnant again with a little girl but
there is something wrong with the baby girl. She is born but doesn't live long.
A few years later (or a few weeks I can't remember) the lady is pregnant again
and all through out her pregnancy she was told it was a little boy so she and
her husband picks out a boy's name. When the time comes for her to deliver the
doctor's are shocked and so are the parents as the baby is a girl :smileyhappy: I think
that they name this baby Hope or Faith something like that. I remember one of
the lines towards the end of the book. it goes like "God knew that I wanted
another little girl" or something like that.

Please help I loved the book but for the life of me I can't remember the title
