I read this book about a girl and her mom and they kept running/moving to new places but then they move to a small town and the girl meets really good friend ( i think zack annine and some one else) anyway the girl doesn't want to move again. Then her mom goes missing theres a car in the garage with a note then police break in and they go out the window of the bathroom.Anyway sorry this is a terrible summary but i read it a long time ago and i would like to read it again now that i am older thank you ![]()

hi,
I think I might know the book you mean, although for the life of me I can't recall the title. The one I am thinking of: the mother was a nurse and whenever the girl got hurt she wouldn't let her go to a dotcor or the hospital and at one point actually put in stitches. It turned out she had snatched the girl as a baby and they had been on the run ever since. It isn't the Girl on a milk carton which has a similar theme. i'll add to my torture list- ie books I desperately want to remember the name of and if i do remember, and its the same one you are looking for I'll drop back in.
xx
