looking for a book

I read this book in the late 70s.  I believe it may have been a Harlequin Romance, had a purple cover.  The story was about this much older brother who was a racecar driver, took care of his little sister because their parents were killed in a car accident.  The girl went off to school and became a photographer.  The called her Foxy.  I believe their last name was Fox.  The girl ends up getting married to her brothers best friend who used to be a race car driver too but he was very wealthy and manufactured the cars instead.

I have one more I am looking for maybe you could help.  I believe it is a Harlequin Presents book from the late 70s.  The main characters name is Holly.  She was hired by a grandma to do a book about her husband who had passed away.  Her grandson (I think his name was Robbie??) falls for Holly but she is falling for his uncle.  His uncle was dating some named Paige but he is falling for Holly too.  He doesnt want to get in Robbies way so he stays back to give him a chance.  The uncles name may be Luke???

It sounds like a Janet Dailey story but I can't pin it down.

I dont know if this will be helpful but the front cover has a blond girl in a red & white shirt.  There is a picture of a sailboat in the background and possibly a lighthouse.  The writers name is in light blue no aqua.  I thought the title had the word Island but I cant seem to find anything with Island that matches the picture. Also, I remember that Luke & Holly were stranded somewhere over night and they declare their feelings.  Once they get back home and Luke sees how worried Robbie was, he decided to back off.  He told Holly " when you cant be with the one you love then love the one you're with"  Luke then gets engaged to Paige but Holly is surprised that the ring he gives her isnt the family herloom.  Something happens to Holly, hits her head or something...and as she goes unconscience, she hears Luke yelling at Robbie about the woman he loves.
