Here's a link to the Gutenberg page for Mansfield Park.  I read a hardcopy novel, but I find this useful for being able to search for specific passages, copy and pasting text, etc.

Slight Spoiler! Here is the text of the play, which not to spoil more than necessary I will leave unnamed, which is a significant element in the book. And yes, it was an actual play which Austen's readers would have known about.

And here is a link to the Jane Austen Centre in Bath. Less of this book takes place in Bath than some other Austen books, but the site may still be of interest to some.

My edition has the text of the play following the novel.  I'm at the point where it comes into play, so I am undecided if I want to take a break from the novel to read the play and then return, or whether I would prefer to continue through the novel and then read the play afterwards, as supplemental material.

Mansfield Park was the inaugural book for the Literature by Women board.  Austen is so popular that is probably doesn't even matter how often one of us hosts a book - people will show up in droves

Yes, people will always love a Jane Austen discussion, and with good reason.

Do you see any significant differences beween the way the LbW group approached Mansfield Park and the way this group is appraoching it?
