Hi, fellow Frankenstein readers. This has been a great discussion--in which we've looked at Shelley's picture of monstrosity, identity, and ambition. I've learned a lot about her art and context from your posts, so thanks for your energy.
As we direct our attention to some of the other book clubs just getting underway, like the American classic Moby Dick, you can find me in the British Classics Book Club -- and, in January, leading the conversation about Franz Kafka's The Metamorphosis and Other Stories. I hope we all keep that Frankenstein ambition that drives us to the poles of the earth, but keep kind and safe on the trip. Keep reading.
See you on the boards,
Ilana
