Kevin Bacon plays a Prussian soldier turned scientist who has developed an invisibility serum that has literally erased his head. Elisabeth Shue reprises her role as Bacon’s onetime love interest, Katrina Van Tassel. Josh Brolin, who reportedly lost 60 pounds and wore lifts during filming, plays fellow scientist, Ichabod Crane. When Katrina and Ichabod fail to restore Bacon’s head, he becomes unglued and unleashes a murderous rampage on his colleagues.

A book in two acts. Set in a typical Eastern suburb of Bullit Park where violence and suspense lurks just below the idyllic surface, The first half concerns Detective Elliot Nailles, a veteran police officer who is given the task of protecting a young state's witness and former ganster. However, the witness completely refuses to get out of bed, causing Nailles no end of grief and casting doubts on the true nature of the American dream. In the second half, disturbed neighbour Paul Hammer begins stalking the witness, and eventually kidnaps him. The story culminates in a epic and memorable chase through criss-crossing rows of cookie cutter houses exposing both the bland conformity and intense violence present in 1960's suburbia.

Set in pre-"No Man's Land" Gotham, the novel (and subsequent stage play) is based upon the stories of Robert Kane.

Edward Nygma is a costumed villain coping with a host of problems;

• His cantakerous henchmen
• City sanctioned violence in the form of the Batman

 

Adam and Eve, recently expelled from Eden, go on a massive 3 day bender!

 

If Ray Milland plays the role of Adam and Jane Wyman assumes the role of Eve, does the proverbial snake than play Howard Da Silva's part as the bartender? Talk about temptation! The apple then becomes a tumbler of whisky?

Variety reports that director, Ang Lee might tackle bringing Yann Martel's Life of Pi to the big screen.

 

I can't even begin to imagine how one would go about adapting the book to film. Can you?

 

Does Lee turn to CGI a la The Hulk?

    When Farmer John and his wife take temporary leave of the farm, the barnyard animals move into the farmhouse. The animals have a rollicking good time, highlighted by pizza parties and toga parties, until the innocent fun takes a horrific turn. One night, the farm animals waylay the pizza delivery boy. Although the delivery boy manages to escape in his car, devoid of its cargo, the animals recognize their superior strength and intellect. Thence, the barnyard animals orchestrate a bizarre plan to take over the world, thereby establishing a new world pecking order. A horse, seeking dominance over the other animals, declares, “All animals are equal, but some are tastier than others.”
